Mondo Advance is a highly engineered gymnasium surface that is perfectly suited for your multipurpose flooring needs. Mondo is engineered to provide safe and comfortable athletic surfaces for uses such as gym basketball flooring and volleyball surfaces.
Mondo flooring was used to remodel an existing gymnasium surface to provide an attractive, state-of-the art athletic facility. The challenge was the existing gym floor was covered with an old, toxic urethane floor. Removing the urethane would have required a hugely expensive hazardous material disposal project. The solution was to have Mondo's 10mm Sport Impact glued over Mondo's Everlay which was loose laid over the existing poured urethane floor. This technique encapsulates the toxic urethane surface without bonding to it enabling the owner to dispose of either the Mondo gym surface or both at a much later date.
