EXTRUDED FIN TUBE
Enerfin extruded fin tubes are formed in a cold rotary extrusion process, where continuous helical fins tube are radially extruded from a thick aluminium muff over a liner fin tube. The process of extrusion hardens the fins and prevents dissimilar metal contacts at the fin root. Compared to other products, fins do not break, unwind or become loose which affects greatly thermal efficiency.
Enerfin can supply extruded fin tubes with or without liner in a variety of material. The extruded fin tube is formed from an outer aluminum tube with a large wall thickness (muff), which is aligned over an inner base tube.

To properly support and convey the extruded finned tube, the machine has been equipped with quick-change steady-rest type roller conveyors. The extruded fin tube is very robust and resistant to mechanical damage, allowing the fins to be easily cleaned with steam or water.
